Pool InspectionsWhether you’re buying, selling or renting your property out to tenants, you may be risking substantial fines by not having a Pool Safety Certificate on record. On December 1st 2010, the Queensland government established further safety laws, making Pool Safety Inspections a requirement when selling or leasing a property.

What Happens If I Don’t Have a Pool Safety Certificate?

  • Private Property Owner: A Pool Safety Certificate is a requirement of settlement in QLD. Without it, sale may be delayed. A buyer can assume responsibility, extending the requisite period to 90 days after settlement.
  • Landlords: A landlord's livelihood sometimes rides on their investment or rental income. You will not be able to rent your property to any tenant, new or existing, without a Pool Safety Certificate.
  • Body Corporate: A Pool Safety Certificate is required every time a unit, flat or townhouse is sold or rented.

Failure to comply may result in fines and penalties.

A pool inspection or pool fence inspection is easy to arrange. Our Pool Inspectors deliver a timely, comprehensive service, supplying every client with a compliance report within two days. If there are repairs to be made or issues to be addressed, a second inspection is easily arranged for a small reinspection fee.

Our Pool Inspectors hold the following Insurances and Licences:

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Swimming Pool Inspectors Licence

There are no time limits or hidden surprises, our pool inspectors have over ten years of experience in the swimming pool industry. We perform a thorough inspection of pool barriers and surrounds to give you peace of mind.
