Tax Depreciation ReportsSave dollars on your tax return this year. The tax depreciation report reflects your annual entitlements, documenting each deductible item within your property. You may be entitled to a tax deduction for depreciation on, but not limited to, blinds; carpets; timber floors; whitegoods; cook tops; free standing furniture and bathroom accessories; light shades, automatic garage doors, fire hoses, extinguishers and range hoods.

What’s In It For You?

  • ALL buildings will attract depreciation. As long as refurbishments have been made since July, 1985 (residential) or July, 1982 (non-residential).
  • All external fencing, paving, pergolas, garden sheds and other outdoor structures are eligible for the building write-off allowance, if constructed or renovated after February, 1992.
  • Recover missing depreciation benefits – A depreciation report can be prepared to allow for five years history, amending previous tax returns to include report results.
